Every profile is selfie-verified
Every member submits a selfie that our team manually reviews before their account is approved — it's a real step, not just a checkbox, and it's what becomes their profile photo. It doesn't guarantee good intentions, but it makes fake and stolen-photo profiles much harder.
Before you meet in person
- Video call before meeting — it's a quick way to confirm someone matches their profile.
- Meet in a public place for the first time, and tell a friend or family member where you're going.
- Arrange your own transport to and from the date.
- Take your time — there's no rush to share personal details like your home address or workplace.
Red flags to watch for
- Someone who avoids video calls or phone calls entirely.
- Requests for money, gifts, or financial information, however the story is framed.
- Pressure to move the conversation off the app very quickly.
- Inconsistent stories about who they are or what they do.
If something feels wrong
Use the Block button to immediately stop someone from contacting you, or Report to flag their account for our team to review. Reports are looked at by a real person, not just logged and ignored.
